Football Indiana / Penn State Game Thread

Lotta mopin' in this thread, the bottom line after 2020 to Nevah Forget is that it's not about a beauty pageant against the Hoosier bastids but that PSU wins by 1 or more every year from now until the 2173 world War against Australia China France

Allowing them to hang around is what eventually cost us the 2020 game and season.

Singleton is a guy who read his press. Allen has been way better this season.
Agreed--I'm hoping Singleton comes back next year fully dedicated and committed because right now it's not there.
3.3/carry today--the TD run was nice as was him finding space on the 21 yard catch but there's too much "bad" from him.

Sophomore slumps all around. First round draft picks don’t play like this. Frankly, second and third round picks don’t either.

Mr Allar is trending toward showing he can’t play at this level too
That's interesting because like 3 games into this season people were claiming he was already better than Kerry Collins as a senior
But, no, you're right--however how much of that is on the coaching.

It's relative to what he is capable of.
Maybe he is injured. Not sure.

On that last series we went to the well of plays that dont work.

Singleton running and two Allar passes.

Should have just punted on 1st.

Where’s the Stat Man today?
Maybe some of his magic numbers could make this mess look a little better.
At the very least, we would know every time Indiana was holding.

Giving this team a bit of a pass today. It's obvious there would be a big emotional let down a week after OSU and a noon k/o. But this team needs to get some leadership (and new O coaching).

After 3 quarters-

Passing-
PSU- 17/26, 132 yards
Indiana- 10/15, 232 yards

Rushing-
PSU- 33 attempts, 105 yards
Indiana- 22 attempts, 57 yards

Ouch! Tells you all you need to know about our passing game. 7.8 yard average on passing. That’s not good at all.

As bad as we’re playing somebody forgot to tell a 2-5 Indiana team that their supposed to roll over and play dead.

Can someone tell me why 43 is in the game

He’s been in on all 3 scores. It’s equal to playing with 10 men

Touchdown Indiana.

Sorsby to Omar Cooper and the Hoosiers are down just three here early in the fourth quarter.

24-21 Penn State.

Defense looks nothing like last week. No intensity.
The entire team lacks intensity and is just going through the motions. This has been a recurrent problem under this coaching staff. This is how they lose every few years to the Illinois/ Indiana/ Maryland type teams.

Why is it the other team can be motivated and run the ball as well as make tight throws but Penn St can’t?

24-21 PSU in the 4th. Indiana is 2-5.

Super uninspired play all around.
Just like it was said at the beginning of the game--the fans are there just because it's what they're supposed to do. It's hard to get up for this game as a player or a fan. We know what lies ahead of us when we play Michigan. What good is 10-2?
