Joe got baited into that double unders, and Bonne had a plan. However, that ref should've caution +2'd him for fleeing.
Rashidov techs Lomtadze from Georgia 10-0 in other 61kg semi. A lot of people had Rashidov as the surest gold medal bet in any weight class.
Chamizo Sidakov. US now in odd position of needing a Russian win to pull JB back in.
Not much going on through the first 1:30, Chamizo on the clock.
1-0 Sidakov, who beat Chamizo recently.
Chamizo in on a shot but did he score in time? Looks like no. 1-0 at break.

Probably not great that Sidakov, Chamizo, and Burroughs were all on the same side of the bracket. Burroughs will wrestle Franklin Gomez for the opportunity to wrestle for bronze.
The Gomez vs Burroughs is bittersweet. Going USA, for sure, though after knowing Franklin from the day he arrived with the NLWC, I can say there’s not a nicer guy in the club.
If DT makes the finals he'll face Faith Erdin from Turkey.

Thanks for the PBP, I watched the stick figures on Track. I bought Track for watching Jrs., woke at 4:30 today to watch, but first read the posts and decided wasn't worth it. Dont like to pay to get frustrated.

BUDAPEST, Hungary – Four U.S. men’s freestyle wrestlers received their draws for the World Wrestling Championships. Competition in their weight classes begin on Sunday at the Papp Laszlo Arena.
At 92 kg/202.5 lbs., 2016 Olympic bronze medalist and 2017 World bronze medalist J’den Cox (Colorado Springs, Colo./Titan Mercury WC/OTC) will open against the No. 2 seed Dato Marsagishvili of Georgia, the 2012 Olympic bronze medalist. Marsaghishvili scored a win over Cox at the 2018 World Cup in Iowa City.
Also in Cox’ half-bracket are No. 3 seed 2012 Olympic champion and 2011 World champion Sharif Sharifov of Azerbaijan, 2012 Olympic bronze medalist Gabor Hatos of Hungary and 2018 Russian National champion Batyrbek Tsakulov.
In the opposite half-bracket away from Cox is No. 1 seed and 2012 University World silver medal Serdar Boke of Turkey.
Cox is competing on his third straight U.S. World or Olympic team, and in his second Senior World Championships. He is wrestling in the new 92 kg weight class, after competing at 86 kg for the previous two seasons. A three-time NCAA champion and four-time All-American for Missouri, he hails from Columbia, Mo.
2016 World champion Logan Stieber (Columbus, Ohio/Titan Mercury WC/Ohio RTC) will open against 2016 World bronze medalist Akhmed Chakaev of Russia. Neither were seeded and randomly drew this pairing.

Obst was a 2018 European silver medalist, while Phulka was third in the 2013 and 2017 Commonwealth Championships.
Dake also has No. 1 seed and 2018 European champion Akhmed Gadzhimagomedov of Russia in his half-bracket. He also has 2015 World silver medalist Urunbat Purevjav of Mongolia in his half-bracket.
The other half-bracket away from Dake is loaded, with 2014 World silver medalist Sohsuke Takatani of Japan, 2013 World silver medalist Ezzatollah Akbari of Iran, three-time World bronze medalist Ali Shabanau of Belarus, 2016 Olympic bronze medalist and two-time World bronze medalist Jabrayil Hasanov of Azerbaijan and 2013 World bronze medalist Rashid Kurbanov of Uzbekistan all competing in the other side of the draw.
