Sounds like his agentNow Fultz is out and will be seeing a shoulder specialist next week per his attorney. It was only a matter of time, but why is his attorney breaking this news?

I was at the game last night and the “excitement and support” for Fultz is wearing thin. At one point, there were three straight trips where he committed two bad fouls and one horrible turnover. He then got a pass 2 feet from the basket in the middle of the lane and he dribbled it out with everyone yelling “WHAT THE...”?!?!
He then got up to the scorers table later in the game and a collective groan came out only to be pulled back and have TJ go in...to a standing ovation. I almost feel like it was more of a “Thank God” from the crowd to Brett Brown for stopping this crazy experiment.

I'll tell you what, watch for the Pistons this year. They've got a great physical presence with Griffin and Drummond. They can also hit threes. With teams staffing up to play ball on the perimeter, these two big guys can play a good inside/outside game. And in the playoffs, the inside game takes on more importance. As they play more together, they are going to be a good team.
I was there too and definitely a lot of head scratchers, some of which I thought shouldnt have been called. Also, the support the city has for TJ is awesome. Has Nittany Lion in his bloodline too
He is both. Hopefully the truth will come out on what happened to his shoulder.
Fultz having a bum shoulder is no excuse for shitty defense and committing stupid fouls. I understand if the shoulder is messed up the shot is a disaster as we see with the foul shots. I wish the best for this guy but I wonder how much of his problems are a mental issue. The second opinion from doctors will let us know. I hope.
i'd be surprised if Fultz could legit make a D-League team based on how he plays.
Looking like a Bennett pick that the Cavs drafted. I sure hope I'm wrong but it's not looking good for mr. Fultz.

There’s probably some merit to the dirt bike hypothesis, and he’s just been trying to keep his paycheck. This whole episode is so disappointing.

This team is a legit finals contender if they had drafted Tatum and added Butler. Not sure if they could beat the Warriors, but it would be a good series.
Sixers up 67-57 at the half. Embiid winning the battle with Anthony Davis. 18pts and 9 rebounds to 6pts and 8 rebounds. Reports tonight now say Fultz wants to be traded and he also has some sort of wrist injury.
If by “wrist” he means “butt” then yeah...I believe it. That standing ovation TJ got and zero minutes he received afterwards coincided with this mess he’s brought on himself.

They had the number 1 pick. I get it, Ainge only trades it Bc they said they were taking Fultz but after the trade they could do as they please
This is exactly my take on it.
Sixers have coddled fultz beyond my patience. That his people put it out there that he wants out...smh...
On the plus side, jimmy butler is a very clear upgrade over Covington. That dude goes hard and has a knack for putting his hand in the way of the ball on defense. This team has a chance to be special. Probably one move away, but any lineup that has redick, embiid, Simmons and butler is deadly.
Also, both embiid and Simmons look like they’ve gotten better. They both know their roles better and it’s making a difference. Add butler to that mix and...let’s go sixers!

Zhaire Smith is a real questionmark. Not sure how that would work with him passing a physical. He was rail thin and has lost 20lbs, and what the inside of his stomach is like now is an unknown to the public. Plus, he has not been able to do any rehab on his foot/ankle.
Smith's fit and role with the Sixers is also up in the air with the addition of Butler and Shamet's play. He's super athletic, but played in and around the paint in college.
I like that proposed trade. Also, who knows where the Miami pick with fall and the impact of high school seniors being able to go pro in several years.
If Washington would take that trade, the Sixers would snatch their arm off. I don’t see the Wiz taking a bundle of cast-offs and future unknowns for a proven player like Beal. The only real thing is that Heat pick in two and a half years. You point out the challenges with Smith. Fultz....sigh.
at first i thought this but what are you really giving up. Fultz is done. A #16 pick that has some major injury question marks, and another future 1st round for a legit player. NBA is about getting players; picks and unproven players mean nothing. With Beal (and then sign a shooter to rotate with Reddick at the trade deadline or off waivers) then you have a legit team that you can keep together for a while. That crunch time 5 of Beal, Reddick, Embiid, Butler, Simmons can play with anybody. Bench a little thing....Muscala is a nice back-up 5. Shamet can give a few minutes. Need that other shooter to rotate with Roddick. Amir is struggling but have the back up center with the Butler trade that maybe gives something. If you give up Chandler, have to go out and pick up a legit wing off waivers also or you are giving those minutes to korkmaz.
But that 5 of Embiid, Simmons, Reddick, Beal, and Butler can legit play with anybody.
Of the three, Beal is by far the best player. Kyle Korver would have to come off the bench, he’s a liability on defense.
The idea with korver would be to have him split minutes with redick. They’re virtually the same player.
But yeah, if the sixers some how landed Beal, WHOA! I think they’d end up being favored to win it all if they pulled that off.

I see Redick being much much better than KK. Nowadays KK is basically nothing more than a catch-and-shoot player. Since Simmons doesn’t shoot threes, it would be too easy to cover KK in that offense, he wouldn’t provide the same upside he does for Cleveland.
Not sure if it was as much an embarrassing preformance by the sixers as much as it was just the Cavs night. They shot 50% from 3. Sometimes the other team just has a night.
Tristan Thompson killed them on the offense boards (they put up 20 more FG’s then the sixers)

Did not see the game. Sounds like Butler escaped a serious ankle injury, but could miss a game or two with a 4th qtr injury. Sixers in a trend of playing down to bad teams. KCP can be traded on 12/15. If they dont land Beal, would like to see them get KCP. He'd be cheaper to land than Beal.
