The defensive holding penalty on 3rd down, extending michigan state's drive, and then lewerke's big run with the middle of the field wide open, allowed michigan state to flip the field. Now they have the ball at our 40 yard line.

But as much as I love CJF, I'm not so sure a CJF team pays that close attention to the small details.

Yep. It’s the little things this team doesn’t seem to do well. Stop them on the goal line - stupid personal foul. Bad coaching decisions - don’t run on third and long with your back up against the end zone - give MSU goods field position with two time outs.

Then why aren't we seeing more of George, Dotson, or Shorter? Legitimate question, especially as the cream usually rises to the top, regardless of experience.
