My only issue was not deferring in the tiebreakers. It worked out though, brilliant effort from him!

Quit the unsportsmanlike BS. If you were in Gavins shoes and one of your best remaining wrestlers has a chance at the semis and the take down was within seconds of the match ending, you would be throwing the brick too. Thats not unsportsmanlike....thats feeling for your wrestler and wanting to give him slim hope at maybe a change in call

That was a beyond obvious takedown and the Ref tried his hardest not to call it which is what led to the Challenge Brick. Bartlett had both his legs and fully behind him several seconds before the takedown call - then Matthews in his panic to escape barrel rolled to his back and Bartlett jumped up onto his upper-body trapping him on his back..... and finally the Ref called the T2 way.... way.... late.

Rooks shoots and gets in deep. Finishes. 2-0 Rooks. Escape. 2-1 Rooks. How was that not stalling on Rooks? Shayne had his head down and Rooks’ sneakers wore out backing away. Nothing but Rooks backing away since opening TD. Shayne gets himself in a weird position being super aggressive and gives up TD. Ugh. 4-1 Rooks. Escape and it’s 4-2. Rooks is all backing up whole period. Finally hit hit stalling. Shayne shoots. Time expires. Strange first period. 4-2 Rooks.

Rooks on bottom. Escape in 10 seconds. 5-2 Rooks. Rooks takes a shot. Gets in deep. Eventually converts. Damn. 7-2 now. Come on Shayne! Escape. 7-3 Rooks after two.

Shayne on bottom. Caution Rooks. Quick escape. 7-4 Rooks. Stalling Rooks. 7-5. Shayne finally gets a TD. 7-7. 2 NF OOB being challenged by Indiana. 1:24 to wrestle. I never saw Crawford wrestle, was it like this? NF confirmed! 9-7 Shayne. Sounds like the TD was the challenge. But it’s 9-7 with the NF. Shayne working hard on top. Rooks has nothing on bottom. 30 secs to go. Shayne killing on top. Shayne wins! On to the semis!
