Several individuals affiliated with PSU are trying to make it to the Olympic Trials on April 19&20. Only the winner of each weight advances to the Trials.

I want to see Mirasola vs Christian Carroll. Carroll was on the U20 team this past year and was a top 3 overall recruit. I think Mirasola can beat him though and I wouldn’t count him out of winning the weight. He has been wrestling so well especially in freestyle

Just like at 125 I see lots of possibilities at 57kg. So many great young ones with Jax, Knox, Desmond, and Gibson along with the vets like Tomasello and Courtney. I’m interested to see how Bassett does but I feel like Valencia is the favorite. His freestyle results have been great. Would love to see a Cenzo vs Sealey final at 74kg. Also interested to see the youngster Sinclair up against guys like McFadden, Brands, McIntosh, and Lujan. I love how Mirasola has been competing lately. Him vs Warner, McDanel, and Carroll should be good. Heavy seems weak overall. See if anyone else registers.

65 is tougher than 57 but it is definitely the toughest tournament for both. Jax winning 57 wouldn't shock me completely but Bo winning 65 would make him a top 7/8 wrestler in the country at 65kg

I really hope we see a Sealey vs Cenzo final. Cenzo is a big favorite but I just want to see how Sealey does against him. His handfighting has improved so much in the past year. His match against the bull was a good example. The bull still handled him but he is one of the better hand fighters out there and Sealey held his own

I'm biased on 1st three, but:

Nyla Valencia at 50kgs. Fantastic top game, esp with guts. Missed college season due to injury, but looked great 1st match

Brianna Gonzalez 53kgs. Little pitbull. Very heavy hands, strong in the front headlock.

Lauren Louive 62 kgs. OG HWC member. Probably last shot at Olympic dream

Jasmine Robinson 68kgs. Electric wrestler. She puts on a show. Big, big move potential.
