What is with this ref and the stalemate?
Why does this ref keep stopping after RBY gets a TD?
Damn, hate to see that.
So so the announcers as they are beyond obsessed with him. But he seems like a great kid.
Yeah, I’m no Iowa fan .. but he seems like a nice guy.
I love how you can give extra cautions. Same thing done last week at piaas
Ballsy call to take Neutral, and it paid off. Love it!!!!
Myers moved early which would have been caution #3 and a point.
131 Semi: RBY vs. Korbin Myers (Virginia Tech)
Per 1
RBY reaches early, nothing. RBY has a single to a double and a TD, 2-0. Stoppage for something ??? Up and out is KM, so it'a 2-1. Lots of collar ties, and not much action. Stalemate with 1:14 left. KM tries a throw-by, nothing. KM with a shot, but RBY is so fast, nothing. End. RT @ 4 sec for RBY

Blood stoppage for somebody. KM takes bottom. KM works up, returned to the mat. Up again tries a shout-out by RBY stays with him and OOB with 1:39 left. KM up really quickly and he's out, 2-2. KM gets a single, RBY sprawls, and a stalemate with 1:14 left. KM reaches, RBY tries a counter, nothing. 30 sec left. RBY in on a single to a double, they scramble, buzzer sounds. End. RT @ 31 sec for RBY.

RBY takes neutral. RBY tries a long shot, nothing. RBY on his knees. RBY in on low single and gets the TD with 1 min left, 4-2. Locked hands, I think, or perhaps not. Not sure why they stopped things. Caution on KM. RBY has KM flattened, and a stall warning on RBY. Caution on KM. Appears a brick was thrown by PSU. Not sure why. No video review. Confusing. KM up quickly but RBY lifts him and returns him to the mat. RT goes over 1 min. OOB with 20 sec. KM not much on the restart, then tries a roll, nothing. and he's out with 5 sec, 4-3. End. With the 1:35 RT, it's a 5-3 DEC for RBY.

Someone take #6’s whistle. Starting with the 4 second stalemate after the 1st takedown to the BS at the end.
It certainly seemed so. I didn't hear another whistle, so I'm not sure what justification the ref gave to Cael for not awarding the point.
ADs tried all he had.

Why did the ref stop the wrestling within 5 seconds of each of RBYs first two takedowns? Was he calling a stalemate or potentially dangerous? Something else?
Desanto looks like hes getting his mean streak back. He lost but is wrestling very well this tournament.
Ref called a 3rd Caution on VT wrestler without awarding RBY a point. The Ref was flat brutal awful th entire match.
