Just curious, anyone here ever been to Hearne Hardwoods in Oxford, Pa?http://hearnehardwoods.com/

I am thinking about ordering something from them in the future. I'd just like to know if anyone has bought wood from them before. When I get my bandsaw, I'd like to have a source for 8/4 boards. Especially if they are cut from the same log (book matched).

I have no experience with them, but have done well with Groff & Groff in Quarryville area. They keep a good selection on hand and for my last project they actually ripped, planed and joined for just a couple of bucks extra.

Thank you! I will have to look them up.

My dad was a woodworker, and once i went to Geoff & Groff for the first time I remembered that this was where my dad would get some of his wood. I don't remember ever going along with him as a kid, but it was cool to think that my dad was buying wood at the same place 40 years before.
