U17/U20 Nationals 4/24-28 in Las Vegas

I might eat my words on this, and of course Lilledahl's body of work far exceeds Desmond's, but not sure there is a ton of separation at this point. Desmond looks excellent. Doubt they meet in this tournament, however.
this is what i thought too. no idea if that's actually prohibited by rule, but it did seem like the ref was gesturing toward his foot

Podcast 2024 NFL Draft Preview + will Drew Allar be in next year's draft?

Hackenberg went in the second round…it’s more about the tools than the stats.
It used to be about this. Scouts want a little more now, too much money on the line. If Andy and Danny guide him like I believe they will, then he will be ready. Right now scouts will wait until the season to see his progress.

Desmond looks like he’s jumped a few levels. I saw an interview he did where he gave a lot of credit to Lilledahl for his improvement. He said going against that level of competition everyday has made him a lot better. I’m really interested to see him in his next match against the Mizzou commit Seth Mendoza. Should be a good one
This has been my impression thus far. He looks to be much more confident in his shots.

Lilledahl is probably one of the top reasons Nate committed. They struck up a strong friendship and Luke told Nate he can make it work weight wise.

61kg R32- Braeden Davis vs. Raymond Adams (Long Beach WC)

P1:
Adams shoots, Davis counters & rolls over for a TD, 2-0
Adams injury time
Adams starts on his belly
Davis looking for a turn, but nothing, restart
Circling, Adams slapping at the head
Tying up, circling, breaking apart
And again, Ref saying something
Davis drops in on a double, Adams fighting it off, Davis working, has Adams near the edge, stalemate, restart
Circling, ref stops it
Passivity warning Adams?
Tying up, circling in the center
1-min left
Davis pushing forward a little & trying some snaps, Adams up & down on a knee
Break & then they tie up again & are circling as the period expires

P2:
Tying up & circling, pushing into each other & breaking
Davis shoots, nothing, Adams counters, nothing
Back to center tying up, circling & breaking apart
Tying up & trying to snap each other, then breaking
Davis does not seem hampered by any injury. He looks good
More tying up, Adams pushing a little more now
1:30 left
Back to center, Adams shoots from a ways out, Davis with a chest lock, stalemate
1-min left
More circling, pushing & tying up
Davis shoots, gets the leg, shelfs it, keeps working, comes around behind & gets Adams to the mat for the TD
Wait, ref is saying something & it's not a TD? I don't get that one.
Back to neutral
Tying up, Davis with a throw for 2+2, 6-1
Adams gets a reversal 6-1
Time expires
Adams challenging
Challenge Lost, point Davis

Braeden Davis DEC Raymond Adams 7-1
I’d be interested if anyone can explain why Davis’ late 2nd period takedown was waived off.

Aaron Rodgers Weighs In On Jets Trading Back, Taking OT Olu Fashanu

Does anybody understand why the Vikings felt the need to move up one spot by swapping picks with the Jets to select JJ McCarthy? What were the odds, with the Jets having Rodgers and needing to find someone who is plug and play due to a short window, would select a quarterback? I know the Falcons did, but...
A baffling move no one can explain.
