Is this in reference to Meyer's last decade of knowing about the daily misfortune of Courtney Smith living under constant physical threat of one of Urby's boys?scha·den·freu·de
ˈSHädənˌfroidə/
noun
- pleasure derived by someone from another person's misfortune.
Speaking of schadanfreude, is there an Ohio State message board that doesn't require premium access? Need a little entertainment.
It's probably just to give them time to work out a settlement, but at least they're saying they're investigating. Contrast that with our BOT who didn't even bother to have anyone check with Joe what his side of the story was before acting.Per ESPN
And that ladies and gentlemen is your Portland Cement Crack of the Week.URBY TO THE CURBY!
Investigation to follow...somehow we're going to need to believe his wife didn't share that info with him. It will be a pretty hard sell if they try to, but this buys them time.and what exactly does that mean? back for tcu?
Correct. This is another media feeding frenzy and everything may have occurred exactly the way Ms. Smith portrayed it. But, by stepping back, permitting a legitimate investigation, everyone's best interest is served. It's probably just to give them time to work out a settlement, but at least they're saying they're investigating. Don’t you mean Thee Administrative Leave?
Wait... LJ still didn’t get the job????? Is it because he’s black??????
I actually had a client do that in an internal investigation interview.Urbz every time his wife said “I was talking to Zach’s wife today”
Vegas has already released odds on the next head coach honestly the one I'm scared about is Joe Moorhead
Will probably be the 2nd half when the game is already decidedWonder if he'll be suspended with pay for the first half of Oregon State.
Does the pitino standard apply on the north side of the Ohio river?
The question gene smith has to answer is whether he wants to appeAr more ethically challenged than the university of Louisville.
I'm expecting a statement from Delany immediately. Oh, wait...Why are people not talking Gene Smith .... ummm how many is this and he had no knowledge?
Stupid yet serious question. Who is a mandatory reporter required to report to? I doubt reporting to her husband would fulfill her obligation. At minimum, I'd assume the report would need to be made to a designated person within the university administration..Meyer's wife is a mandatory reporter, as an RN. This could get dicey. If they claim she didn't tell anybody what she knew, she can be prosecuted.

Gene Smith will do anything and everything, as long as it is in the best interests of Gene Smith. Why are people not talking Gene Smith .... ummm how many is this and he had no knowledge?

I’m pretty sure Gene Smith was referenced by many in the airline “row jumpers” thread. Hint: he was a douchebag!Gene Smith will do anything and everything, as long as it is in the best interests of Gene Smith.

Don't believe that she is required to report. According the laws in Ohio mandatory reporting is only required if you are treating the patient.Meyer's wife is a mandatory reporter, as an RN. This could get dicey. If they claim she didn't tell anybody what she knew, she can be prosecuted.
I’m not sure where this myth comes from. She’s only a mandated reported if the information was presented to her as she was fulfilling the duties of her professional role. If she came across it outside of performing as a nurse, then no, she’s not a mandated reporter. And I hear the media get this wrong all the time too.
