1. Hamler is a home run threat every time he touches the ball.

2. Sanders is proving to be the #1 back without a doubt. He lost 40 yards on the Polk pull up and a receiving TD on Johnson's pick.

3. TE is not the weakness we feared. Blocking wise, much improved. Still not a Gesicki type threat, but we have 3 solid hands presently.

4. Trace didn't have the amazing stat line, but he is a great leader. At least 8 drops from our team tonight. Needs to have more designed runs vs zone reads.

5. OL wasn't dominant, but productive. I think Fries is solidly penciled in at RT now. Still gelling in the middle, but it's coming along. 51 and 45 points in two games has to mean something.

6. Curious how long it is before we see Shorter/Dotson/George at WR. Between the drops (JJ and DT in a race to 10 it seems) and the lack of down field blocking, what would it hurt to get them out there?

7. Clifford to Polk was beautiful.

8. Allen had a solid game. He's good picking up the blitz. Need Slade to pick himself up. He could be dangerous, but he's gotta get out of the fumbling dog house (Sanders disappeared there once too).

9. DL made a huge turn around from first to second half. Good adjustments by Pry (seemed to pinch them in, slash the gap more than initiating contact). Givens return was big. Still need Simmons back before the OSU game. Reserve DTs seemed to gain confidence as the game wore on.

10. LB is still a weak spot. It's time to pass on Koa (unless he's only coming in on 3rd and long to blitz). Brown played better in the second half. Johnson would be fine in Brandon Smith like relief, but he's not who we want long term. Brooks had the strip towards the end. Darien is the best tackler on the team at least from a form standpoint. Parsons is getting there. Still not sure why he hasn't been unleashed on any blitzs yet. Luketa is about to see an uptick in snaps, but we have not seen enough yet.

11. Monroe seemed to supplant Scott. Did I miss an injury or just a change?

12. Secondary wasn't exactly tested. Amani's INT seemed to kill Narduzzi's passing plans.

13. Gillikin returned to form. Flipped the field for us all night. Pinegar missed his FG attempt, but nailed all his XPs. Thompkins with a punt return TD. Hamler poised to break one on KOR. Definitely won this third of the game.

14. Pitt was about what everyone expected up front. Perfect storm (literally, figuratively) gave Pitt life for one half. Penalties destroyed Pitt. Keychain Kenny never threatened us down field. Game truly turned on the Panthers failure to capitalize on the Slade fumbles in plus territory. Once we got the 4th down stop, the game swung.

Pickett is a one trick pony...he can run but his passing is pathetic.

Let’s see, two things-

1- JoeMo leaves PSU and gets the reigns of a Top 20 team,
2- Pat N leaves Sparty and gets the wheel on the Titanic
