Today was my second day back. Some observations:
- Social distancing is easy, right now anyway. In two days I’ve seen six people upstairs, on the bikes and treadmills.
- The ropes are all gone. Every kind.
- People are getting in and out quicker; a lot less conversation going on.
- I was reminded of how important lifting is to me. I was thrilled to be there, working hard.
- I’m nowhere near where I was before the gym closed. (For example, 60 pounds short on my bench. I would do dips with 50 pounds on a belt, crank them out with perfect form. Yesterday I did dips without extra weight and thought I was going to die.)
