I think Franklin’s ceiling is 11-2, 10-3….nothing more, but often less. PSU is an above-average program, but will never be elite.
Offensive line. It’s been the same crap for 8 years now.
We are going to get smoked by Ohio State next weekend. Penn State is overrated and today’s performance is an embarrassment thus far.
A predictable post-Bye week Franklin Special. I so want him gone.
We've only run 23 plays in the first half, which is almost half of what Ill did. This staff better get their crap together.
Reminds me of game 1. Second half told a different story. But soft starts gotta stop.
They didn't miss the block in the back...they simply elected not to call it. They don't even care that they're corrupt and that PSU #37 was somewhat injured/dinged as a result.

Yeah, the problem though is that once Bielema teaches PSU offensive linemen to hold, the refs will start calling it on them.

You forgot to mention Illinois holding every freakin play without a flag. Unbelievable!
There is a point where the offensive coaching staff and Franklin have to take serious heat for it. It’s not 1 or 2 bad games. They’ve been bad for years and the issue is never fixed.
This program just doesn't seem to have what it takes to get to the next level. Fading in the second half (last year doesn't count), terrible line play, poor tackling. Getting physically pounded by a nothing team. Never seems to change.
