2020 Schedule
@ Indiana
VS Ohio State
VS Maryland
@ Nebraska
VS Iowa
@ Michigan
@ Rutgers
VS Michigan State

Here's Penn State's all time record VS the Big Ten

VS BIG TEN 221-106-3
Indiana 22-1-0
Maryland 40-2-1
Rutgers 28-2-0
Purdue 15-3-1
Illinois 19-5-0
Northwestern 14-5-0
Minnesota 9-6-0
Iowa 17-12-0
Wisconsin 10-9-0
Michigan State 16-17-1
Nebraska 8-9-0
Ohio State 14-21-0
Michigan 9-14

Just some thoughts...
  • With a win, Penn State can even the all-time record with two long time opponents; Michigan State & Nebraska
  • The Lions also can get to double digit wins VS Michigan with a win in the Big House... would be first since 2009
  • Penn State is going for 7 straight VS Iowa... to lead all-time series 18-12. Pretty significant streak especially considering we had a losing record VS the Hawkeyes when the streak began in 2011.
Given everything the program has endured during the past two decades, the fact we have an opportunity to be even with, or have a winning record VS every team in the B1G with exception of Ohio State & Michigan is impressive

There's no denying Ohio State has owned the conference.. but we've played them as tough as anyone in the past 10 years.

Something else of note(not on the team so I can look ahead)...if we take care of business in Bloomington it will be win #899 which means the biggest game on our schedule could be win #900!
Yep... Also Oklahoma is only at 909. If they continue to freefall, we'll be passing them in the next few years too.

Ahead of the sooners is Notre Dame at 910, Texas & Alabama at 918.

If it wasn't for "The Dark Years" in the early 2000s, we'd certainly be in the top 5 in total wins.

Since we’re talking all-time wins, please take this opportunity to remember the farce of michigan’s win total.

Oklahoma freefall? They are 59-12 since 2015 and have made the playoff 4 times during that stretch. I think you're getting a bit ahead of yourself saying OU is in a freefall after losing 2 games in 2020. If anything they are outpacing PSU on the all times win list in recent years.

They've lost two back to back games for the first time since 1999. They've been blown out in the college football playoff every time they've made it.

The Big 12 is a joke this season and Oklahoma isn't winning it. I'd consider that a freefall.

A 2 game losing streak is far from a freefall. It takes more than one season to indicate a trend, especially a season like this one where teams are dealing with stuff that has never been seen before.
