I know, I know. Dereliction of duty. Here are the Maryland results.

Everybody got two because Verkleeren was unanimous. 184 and 197 were tossed because Edsell and Hoopes were in, instead of Brooks and Rasheed.

I'm going to plow through Wisconsin and Minnesota right now, so those results will be out in a little while.

@pawrestlersintn just to confirm, we're to limit our picks to the wrestler's named in @HOCKEYGOD11's pre-match roster posts, correct? Some of us occasionally stray from those rosters to include potential backups (myself included), so just want to make sure only outcomes involving those posted rosters get scored.

EDIT: @pawrestlersintn your comment below about people living under a rock for not realizing Murin wouldn't go underscores my question. Murin was the only one named at 141 in the posted list of likely rosters earlier in the week. Which begs the question, are we supposed to go off HOCKEYGOD11's list? Your rules at the top of the thread say you will post the expected wrestlers before each match, usually by Wednesday. But I only ever see HOCKEYGOD11 posting the rosters. I'm so confused. :p:rolleyes:o_O
Sorry, didn't realize this was here until I started scoring Maryland.

So, the baseline is the Match Notes, posted by PSU Wrestling on Wednesdays before matches. Several season's ago, Hockeygod started beating me to the punch on getting those posted, so I don't even try anymore, and I appreciate his effort.

There was a time, and the reason for the note in the rules, when changes would be made in a separate message, if it was widely known that a change was likely. In that case you would see a new message like, "Everyone should include Other in their picks, as it sounds like Murin isn't going." We would try to post those messages in plenty of time for everyone to post or edit their picks prior to match time. However, it rarely worked, because inevitably, someone would have their picks in before the "change post" was made, and I had no idea if they had put their picks in and then left the country for a week, which would make it unfair to ding them for it.

That's the backstory. Now, when I posted about people living under a rock, it was a joke. The vast majority of people, having read this board, realized Murin wouldn't be going, and picked accordingly. Because there were only a few people that didn't, I thought the living under the rock joke was funny. If EVERYONE had edited their picks to include Murin not going, we could have scored the weight, but that didn't happen. No biggie, not directed at any one in particular and you're playing the game just fine.

I competed in the first dual of this season after competing in the previous three season. I suffered an injury during the first dual and was unable to compete for the remainder of the regular season. Do I still have a chance to win a National Title in KYPSW this season as a Senior or has my ship sailed lol. I think the brace could get me through Bigs and Nattys. Let me know. Feeling ready. Dont wanna have to apply for a medical redshirt.

And, Minnesota.

125 tossed, due to forfeit.
157 tossed, due to Gardner
Everybody gets 2 at 133 because Dryden wasn't listed.

Your chances of winning the dual season are bleak.
You can still win B1G or NCAA. Probably pretty tough to win the overall season, too.

Here are the STD standings after Minnesota. But, don't worry, they have pills for that.

There are a whole lot of people that can still make the podium with just a couple of duals left. Good luck the rest of the way.

You have me at 0 for 133 -- but I picked "Gross Dec". I did change it about an hour before the match so maybe you missed that.
I entered 2500 pieces of data today, and you're holding me accountable to that one? :) It's corrected in the spreadsheet, so you'll see it in the next YTD standings.

I have a tremendous appreciation for what you do -- as I think you already knew. But yes, I need to win one against NoVa once in every blue moon or so. :) That said, I have some ideas I've been mulling over that I'd like to discuss with you (in Minneapolis?) about decreasing your work load on KYPSW.

I'm all ears, but be warned, Tikk has tried several times over the years to convince me to help myself. At this point, I think he thinks I'm hopeless, as thus far, I've resisted for various reasons, but yeah, let's discuss.

I love Wrestlestat and it's a "go to" site for me but thought it would be in a little better position at this point in the season. Will admit, Moran over Lee had me smh somewhat...
