Rivera had a very good HS career but his recruitment was weird. 3x Wisconsin state champ and 4x finalist. IIRC his runner-up finish was his only loss in folk.

He won Fargo in the summer before 9th grade, and then again the next year. His results may have slid some after that (I don't remember).

He looked like a high-level national recruit but for some reason committed extremely late -- after winning states his SR year. Odd considering his credentials.
