Had a great experience at the game besides the end.

Stayed a couple nights in Williamsport, loved the area. Traveled down and tailgated all day. Met allot of friendly PSU fans. The experience at the game was awesome. First time in a stadium that big. Wasn’t bothered by any of the trash talk comes with the territory. Was hoping for a different ending. Best part of game was Sweet Caroline. Getting out after the game took a long time but was expected beforehand.

Btw Pennsylvania state police was busy on the roads Sunday. Thankfully no tickets but saw them everywhere.

Beat Pitt.

Glad you had a good trip. There seemed to be plenty of WVU fans there which always makes that atmosphere fun. Hopefully the 2 schools can arrange some future meetings without as long of a gap.

EDIT- How could I forget- beat Pitt! PSU and WVU should play more often if for no other reason than to annoy Narduzzi and the yinzers. It would give him something new to whine about. ;)

Would love to play them every five years or so. And Pitters would be spitters!

In the realm of “Beat Pitt”, a funny story about an early “beating” of sorts.

My great uncle was this guy:

He was from shinnston and matriculated to Pitt. Got homesick fall freshman year and went home for a weekend. Wvu staff got word of it and invited him up to Morgantown. Had a great time. Pitt staff found out, and sent a search party. Wvu staff hid him out over the weekend in fraternity houses. He ended up staying.

And the rest was history.

Pretty cool. Know anything about his WWII Navy career?

Appreciate your post, but would have loved to have heard something
honoring Jimmy Buffet in lieu of "same old/same old" Sweet Caroline.
