HE HAD 1 BAD GAME! Good lord, maybe he only had 1 bad qtr. He doesn't get open....before Minnesota when they threw him the ball he caught it.
But the problem is, he doesn't get open. He doesn't get open enough to make him a viable option. it is because he can't get open vs CB's. that is why the OP probably mentioned a change so he can get different match ups.
I believe you need to watch all of the 2019 games over again. Shorter had lots of drops before that game and those drops were discussed on this forum earlier this season.
The problem seems to be that Shorter must look good in practice but does not seem to make the catches in the actual games. Another problem seems to be that there is no WR on the roster to replace him that can make more plays than shorter. With 2 games to go this regular season we may have to wait until the 5 2020 WR commits are on the roster to see improved WR play.....
