I'm glad Shane Griffith and Mekhi Lewis made the finals again. Tough men right there climbing hard up the hill
With Hidlay and Lewis splitting really close matches this year, I'm feeling confident in Carter after that performance

On the flip side it is hard to keep beating the same opponent over and over again. They're familiar with your tendencies and have a feel for your strength, quickness etc. RBY handled Desanto, but we saw Griffith turn the tables on Wick. Cstar v. Lewis should be a great match, but I'm not betting against Carter. Dude says he's the best in the world, he might be right...

Yes. Thankfully Lewis caught and stuck him, but he was clearly gassing. UM all of a sudden was able to get in on his legs in consecutive shots.

Told everyone before Nationals that I’m so glad we will celebrate our National Championship with Drew as our 125 and not Nicky. I absolutely love that Nicky won’t be in our team photo!
Trent should ask the ref if he could start the mat at the OB line. would speed things up a little
