Ravens are a hell of a lot of fun to watch.
Harbaugh bet his job on Jackson and won. Next weekends game against the 49ers is going to be great.

It amazes me how the Steelers had the Ravens beat with Rudolph as QB. Until JSS fumbled.

The Ravens and Harbaugh have really improved their defense through in season trades.
That and Gregg Roman is a QB whisperer.

Trace is on the active roster. NFL rosters have 53 players. But NFL teams can only dress 46 players. So there are always 7 players who are deactive for a game. But they are still on the active roster. Third QBs are almost always inactive. If you recall, Hack was rarely dressed on gameday while with the Jets. But he was still on the active roster. Same with Trace.
The practice squad is totally different. There are 10 players on practice squad. They are paid a lot less and any other NFL team can sign a player off someone’s practice squad.

as a lifelong Baltimore fan I cannot tell you how excited the city is about this team and Lamar. Last year after Flacco got “injured” they had to revamp their approach. Went to a ground and pound and went to the playoffs. Lamar worked very hard in the offseason on his mechanics and embraced the chance to be the man and he has been amazing.
as to the rest of the team, the GM has done a masterful job getting guys to fill holes and getting Jimmy Smith back gives them arguably the best Cornerback units in the league.
John Harbaugh is clearly loving coaching this team. They play smash mouth football with the use of a 300 lb fullback at times and three excellent tight ends.
