1. The back judge had to call that, as he saw the shirt stretched to its limit, and I am sure fully appreciated what that replay would have done to embarrass the league if no one else had.
2. GB lost the game when they didn't go for it in the red zone on 4th and 8. I mean, think about this. If they make it, they end up either tied or within a field goal. If they don't make it, TAM has the ball at its own 8, and if they get it back, they're still within that same TD. On the other hand, if they make the field goal, TAM is almost certain to get the ball around the 25, and you still have to score that same TD. If nothing else, there's virtually no scenario where TAM doesn't come out better with GB kicking the field goal.
