Georgia playing 8-9 up close taking away the run and short stuff. Should have kept going down field.
Not trying to be critical, but Hack is without question the worse "thrower" of simple screen passes, short bubble routes, and other forms of "long-handoff" extremely short timing routes that I have ever seen, especially for a supposed top NFL prospect. These passes are not difficult to execute and he routinely butchers them - no touch, no accuracy, etc....
I think it falls under unintentional grounding........ #10 has another step or two there and it could have been 6.
Agree, Haley got picked by their TE and our LB to get them in FG range. Outside of that we seem to have them covered on that first drive.
The QB was not under duress and wasn't throwing the ball away to avoid the sack. If that's intentional grounding, every time a receiver runs the wrong route you could call intentional grounding.
