I don't think Lee came out because he fumbled. I think CJF wanted to get Ford some PT in a blowout game.

I thought Lee looked great running the football and carrying defenders with him. That was my biggest positive takeaway but I realize that Ball State was a bit worn down by then.

Lee came out because on his last carry he got the wind knocked out of him.
