KYPSW

Some of the newer members of the board probably saw this thread title pop up, and thought, "What in the heck is a KYPSW?" Well, it's time to find out.

KYPSW is a season-long contest that has been around since at least the 2013-14 season. That's as far back as I have data, but Roar or Slush can help me out with the actual start year. If I find time during the season, maybe I'll try to compile the results through the years.

pa is correct. History, for anyone interested, was a 2013-14 start, entirely on Scout. This is the 7th year, and the 3rd year with BWI (I believe that's correct). It's still part of On The Mats, though this board has ramped up it's participation.

That first year saw the development of tournament points, which are much different than duals, and B1G's and NCAA's were added to the dual totals for overall champ. For the Scuffle, the Keystone Classic, and any other regular season tournaments, we have typically run a stand-alone competition.

And pa, I have a good bit of the history, as far as finishes, since year 1, and can send it to you if you wish, then you can just fill in the blanks for the little bit I'm missing. I will say that Slush and pa have done the heavy lifting over the years.

61 entrants.
Nobody's perfect. (Actually, I don't know that for sure, but I'm VERY confident.)
149 is out, because Fuenfinger didn't wrestle and Park wasn't listed on the Match Notes.

Well, now, I almost ate my words about someone being perfect. A newcomer, BlisterSister from the Scout board was really close, after the Gardner match was tossed out. With that match being tossed, a perfect score would have been a 27, and BlisterSister came in with a 26, missing only Joseph's fall.

Below are the standings after Dual 1. Remember, it's a long, grinding season, so just because you had a bad week doesn't mean you're out of it. Keep plugging along.
