Five. Five participants were perfect! Everyone, please give a round of applause to Crunched, Dicemen99, Lyco1990, Potterlion and psumacw. Not only that, but 17 others had 29. Wow.

One note, everybody got 3 for 125, since we didn't send anyone out.

This team is so dominant that it is tougher for anyone to separate from the field. Ohio State will be interesting, but it still won't be enough to knock many people out of contention for the season title, since so many points are available in Bigs and Nationals.

Congratulations to everyone with scores of 29 and 30. That is truly remarkable and indicative of wrestling genius. I hate you all.

Listening to the match and looking at my picks during the halftime break. Realize I didn't make a pick for 197 if Cassar goes, and it sounds like he might. If permitted, I'll take Cassar in a major decision.

Two guys on the FOS/247 board put picks in for a non-Hemida match, when Byers announced that Hemida might not be going. Here is my response to that situation:

I'm going to address this, even though it didn't come into play here, so that everyone will be aware if it happens again.

The only time I allow someone to put picks in after the start of a match is if they are late in getting their whole set of picks in. In that case, I do my best to judge what time a particular match started, then that person can only score in the matches after that. For instance, a match starts at 4:00 and someone doesn't get their picks in until 4:10. I'll figure out if 133 had started by the time. If so, then the person can only score 141 and up. If 133 hadn't started, then they can score 133 and up. (If the problem becomes habitual for a particular person, I'm probably going to give a warning, then DQ them, if it happens again. But, that has not been a problem.)

The reason I don't allow a late single pick is that not everyone can be sitting around listening to Byers 20 minutes before match time to find out who is going. It wouldn't be fair to those guys if I allowed match-time picks for other players. In this instance, IF Hemida had not gone, the weight would have been scratched.

And, now lobo gives me produces a caveat to that last message. Lobo, yes, I'll allow it, since 4:42 was obviously before the start of 197, and it wasn't based on new information at match-time.

Once again, we have perfect scores. This time, though, we didn't have the record five, but just two, which is still more in a single dual than we've ever had in the history of the KYPSW.

Justin6 and Chromehill each come away with 30s for the dual. Congratulations! They were followed by three at 29 and a bunch at 28.

Not sure if I'll get YTD out yet tonight, but if not, it will be first thing in the morning.

enhance

Here are the YTD results after the last two duals. Funkisfun has the lead all to himself, with HockeyGod in 2nd. Chromehill, lionmd and psumacw all jump way up the leaderboard with their big weekends to 5, 6 and 6, respectively.

As always, look these over and get back to me quickly, if you see any issues.
