Great tweet from Nittany Pride - all 3 Heisman finalists lost their bowl games

Jesus Christ.. Because yeah, football is not a team game.

Ndamukong Suh not winning the Heisman was all the proof of the award being a joke that anyone should have needed- if they actually needed any proof

If memory serves, Penn State had a nice run of stopping Heisman Trophy winners in Bowl games:
Beat Marcus Allen & USC in Fiesta Bowl
Beat Herschel Walker & Georgia in Sugar Bowl
Beat Vinny Testaverde & Miami in Miami in Fiesta
beat Ty Detmer and BYU in year before he won in 1989 Holiday Bowl.. others?

We beat 5 in 7 years (81-87) if you count regular season wins against Doug Flutie in 84 and Tim Brown in 87.

1981--Marcus Allen
1982--Hershel Walker
1984--Doug Flutie
1986--Vinny Testaverde
1987--Tim Brown

When I was at Penn State 86-88 the State College bookstores were selling Heisman Graveyard signs and shirts with the names of the Heisman winners that Penn State had beaten.
