I do too and I see a tough guy who wouldn’t quit, who is now a professional at the top of his game.
He could have won it for them if they weren't well the Jets. He seems to be having a Robbie Gould type career in the NFL - I remember Robbie at PSU - huge leg but was inaccurate but is now and has been for a while the best kicker in the NFL - good for both of them.
That was rough with Fera transferring. Ficken was simply put on the spot too early in his young career.
IMO that team would have been the favorite to win the BiG title if not for the sanctions & Freeh agency. They finished 8-4 but certainly would have beat Ohio & Virginia if they had Fera, Fortt, Redd, and Brown. I also think those kids would have made the difference in relatively close losses to OSU & Nebraska.
Love the guy but would never want to do cocaine with him...
Glad he was able to recover from his initial debut. See miracles can happen and See Virginia because I can't watch it again.
