Wondering how he played and how long?
Classic McSorley! Drop back, get heavy pressure, escape and take off running. Just as he gets to the line of scrimmage, he spots an open receiver far downfield and hits him.
You are indicating McSorley should end up #2, correct? He was 13/22 163 yds and 1 TD 98 rating.... sacked twice and 0 interceptions. Leading rusher with 32 yds. Good start. Kid from Tennessee (Guarantano???) replaced him.
He should be #2 this year.
Spot on.Classic McSorley! Drop back, get heavy pressure, escape and take off running. Just as he gets to the line of scrimmage, he spots an open receiver far downfield and hits him.
One of his skills was to always be looking downfield as he runs. Puts a ton of pressure on DBs .......can’t come up to support the run D because he will burn you deep.
Good stuff, thanks!
Colt McCoy will be #2, barring injury.Announcers were praising him. At one point Pasch mentioned Luketa with a big hit on special teams and said he and Trace are both PSU. Wolfley (WVU Grad) said, somewhat jokingly, “let’s not talk about PSU” 😂 Trace had a great throw that would have been caught if not for PI. Resulted in about 40yds of PI on the first drive.
He’s going to have to work hard to unseat Colt McCoy for #2 IMHO.

Well, time for Stout to be randomly tested. LOLAnother decent night for Trace. 18/34 229. One rushing TD. 2 picks but one was on fourth down and he was on the run. The other looked like the receiver stopped his route. Announcers talked him up again.
Stout for the Ravens was great. 3 punts with a 51.3 avg. Two inside the 5 and one 58 to the sideline with no return inside the 20. And an XP.
Not exactly sure how the NFL pension time accrues, but Trace is likely very close. That will bring significant lifetime income for a guy who was thought to probably be a safety when he was coming in.I love TM but he doesn’t have the arm strength to be a starter. Defenses will prepare for him appropriately in real games. He isn’ta fantastic athlete meaning he can’t sustain a career with his mobility and size like a Lamar Jackson.
regardless, great to see a psu QB in the nfl.
He's 15/29 for 144 yards so just less than 5 yards an attempt. Rating under 70.Trace making another statement (7/7) on the opening drive for a TD. Made all types of throws and avoided the rush on a play that was key. Announcers high on him. “If you cut him, he’s going to get picked up by another team.”
Took the team down for a FG with :35 to go in the half.
Had one possession on the 2nd half opening drive that ended on downs at the Titans 40.
Yea. Not suggesting that he’s going to take over for Kyler but he’s played himself into a roster spot for someone. Hope it’s the Cards. He's 15/29 for 144 yards so just less than 5 yards an attempt. Rating under 70.
I watched much of the game. He's not impressive. He's a nice #3 if Arizona keeps 3. If not, he'll be picked up by someone like Carolina to be their third.
