Advice Needed for game day.........

Would appreciate input. Going up to State College this weekend for the game. A few questions: Given the 7:40 pm kick:

1. What time will the team bus arrive at Beaver Stadium?
2. What time with the Blue Band march to the stadium? Do they still march in using Curtin Road?
3. What time should we leave the tailgate (Lot 12) to ensure we get into the stadium in time for the blue band pre-game performance?

1. Team arrives 2 1/2 hours before kickoff, so about 5:30. Lots of people go, so come early for a good vantage point, maybe near the baseball stadium.
2. They do march on Curtain Road, not sure exactly what time.
3. Band enters stadium approx. 20 minutes before kickoff, however with 110,000 tomorrow it may take some time to enter the stadium. This might be a record crowd and security searches and pat downs take time. Play it safe, and come in an hour early and watch the videos and the warm ups. Lots of good stuff to see.

The eight team captains will be tossing footballs signed by the captains and head coach James Franklin to eight fans lined up on Curtin Road.

The team's actual arrival is 5:13pm, but certainly recommend getting there earlier due to the crowd.

With the Blue Band starting at 7:22, I'd recommend getting to the gate around 6:15 to allow plenty of time to get through and get to your seat (certainly no later than 6:30). If the gate you arrive at is really bad, I'd keep walking around the stadium to the next gate as that will likely be quicker in the end.
