Childish, weak, and irrelevant. Neither I nor anyone else on this or any other thread claimed to be "qualified to replace Franklin." I've never played Tecmo Bowl, and don't even know what it is. The "straw man" you've created is another weak-minded attempt at disputing a point nobody has made. Kudos for jumping and feeling compelled to stop by.
I have critiques of certain aspects of the game and coaching, but my participation in this and a similar thread simply pertains to the vapid argument that one cannot criticize college football coaches who make millions of dollars a year unless . . . wait for it . . . the critic is a college football coach who makes millions of dollars a year. It's just flat out moronic. I guess Ishtar is a classic film that is above criticism for its acting, screenplay, cinematography, etc. -- right up there with Citizen Kane. Or, anyone who loves movies and has seen hundreds of them should be forbidden from saying anything about Ishtar that is critical, and their remarks (if any) should be "Hey, Warren Beatty tried really hard, did his best, he's a professional, so who am I to judge? He has my full support! More Ishtars! Can't wait for Ishtar 2!"
