Seemed like every time DL was in a the wide splits, Minnesota would make big runs up the middle. Anyone else notice that yesterday? That's what I noticed at the game, but haven't watched the tape yet

Ibrahim got most of his yards on those zone reads where Minny down blocked and Mo would cut back into the A or B gap. DTs seemingly got washed out of the hole and even with Carter at Mike quite a bit we aren't shored up yet.

Still, 102 on 30 is actually excellent for us. If we were stout in the middle, Ibrahim wouldn't have broke 60 yards.

Exactly, 102 yards on 30 carries (3.4 ypc average) is not good at all. It's one of the big reasons why Minny punted 7 times. PSU outrushed Minny 175 yards to 165 yards despite Minny having 35% more carries relative to PSU (i.e., PSU's ypc average of 5.1 ypc was 1.5x better).

Yep. And if Minny had a threat otherwise it may have been much more
