U17/U20 Nationals 4/24-28 in Las Vegas

What I meant by that, other than the snark -- and I should've been clearer about this:

IIRC the Trials qualification rules changed for the 2024 Olympics, adding past years of allowable credentials, due to the Covid fustercluck.

Will USA Wrestling keep a solution to a problem that no longer exists? Who knows.

But they need to do something about a format that had guys competing until nearly midnight, on the treadmill cutting weight past 1 am, and then having to weigh-in at 8 am. If that means reducing qualifiers, so be it. And that might trickle into Olympic Shirt rules.
Do you think that the TV broadcast schedule had any influence on the long days?

Of wrestlers over 160 pounds, nobody has done more with a 5’3” wingspan than Ryder. Kid is tough as nails and refuses to be average. He was cracking me up all tournament. How is this working?

Barr looks like the bad guy from Karate Kid. “Love the movie and can’t come up with his name. The one that bullied Danielson

Sinclair is really really good. That drag for the first td was beautiful. He also beat Connor Mirasola last year. He’s headed to Mizzou next year

Without going back and looking at the broadcast schedule: I doubt it. Day 1 was primarily (if not exclusively) streamed on Peacock -- and therefore TV scheduling is no excuse.

The Day 2 schedule was goofy and maybe TV played a role there -- but that doesn't change the late end (including treadmill time) to Day 1.

That was impressive. Barr had a few good attacks but Sinclair turned all of them into his own points. I thought Sinclair would win but thought it would be super close

Sinclair is freaking great. Yes, Josh lost this one. Learn and move along. One match. I'm not going to be to get down on Alex or Josh, they are both improving steadily and they are both ready to step up next season. Both 174 and 184 are going to be interesting next year and I think Mizzou might just be the guys to beat at both of those weights.

I don’t get the ragging on them. Sinclair is just that good. Facundo just had a hell of a tournament beating Haines in the process.
I am not ragging on them, really. I know Sinclair is very good. Was hoping we'd see something different is all.

No ones touching Keck next year at 184, unless Carter moves into his weight.
