The former CDC Director recently appeared in a CNN interview stating that he believed the virus most likely originated from a research lab in Wuhan. He did qualify that there is not definitive proof of this right now, but he does believe evidence will continue to emerge over time. He did not describe this as an intentional act.
The US State Department came to a similar conclusion, and unlike the WHO, they have access to intelligence and a lack of CCP oversight. So this is not some sort of Q Anon BS.
