Pitt men’s basketball and football programs committed coaching violations

Whew, it's a salty day in the LIAR (always google panther liar and it always comes up) where they went immediately to child rape without any hesitation at the first taunt about how their coaches cheated.

They just don't get how stupid that makes them look. No PSU employee raped anyone, and no PSU employee covered it up... this is irrefutable fact. Yet their coach was at MSU during an actual rape scandal. They are the CFB equivalent of flat earthers.

Okay the Pittiots willingly deceived, they played music etc... I don't like them. But this is another example of the NCAA going after low hanging fruit. Take a look at the programs that all of a sudden are recruiting at a high level, academic fraud, etc.. People of Nittany Nation please don't applaud Emmert and Co. They are a joke. Again I hate the Pitt Fan base.

Let’s be honest, if you cheat at something like this, you are doing much more. Pitt is probably cheating at recruiting among other things. They are finishing well above their limits at 6/7 wins a season. Time to shut down Pitt football

Back to the serious side of this (it's pitt, so perhaps impossible to be serious), how in hell did they even get caught?

This is where it gets good. Rumor has it that Pitt was trying to figure out a way to fire Stallings without having to pay out the remainder of his contract. They decided that the way to do it was to turn him in to the NCAA for the practice violations (which I'm willing to bet the majority of the programs in the NCAA violate), figuring that the only people who would get burned would be the staff that they were trying to fire. One of the basketball staff got wind of what was going on and turned in the football program for doing the exact same thing.

Not really. It's not really that unusual a thing to happen. You're short a coach or two at practice for one reason or another (they are sick or out recruiting, etc) and a staff guy like a director of basketball ops, or the video coordinator, or the recruiting coordinator steps in to help. It's a violation but it happens a lot.

Lol, totally believable and too cool to not be true. What a great way to start the day.

Wow - if that is true talk about a complete fail, how in the world could a school be that stupid which is a rhetorical question when it comes to Pitt.

Looking over the long list of violations I think that pitt deserves the death penalty in both football and basketball. The unsaid part of this is that Narduzzi knew what was going on at MSU and ignored the sordid activities. One disgusting part of pitt's NCAA penalty is that they were fined a fraction of what they spend on basketball and football. This just means that the Pennsylvania taxpayers will have to pony up more money to pay their fines. pitt athletic programs are loathsome.

That could only be more amusing if the stakes were higher. Total pitt move though.

What I think is interesting, is that El Douche made it sound like he turned down MSU. While this is patently false......wouldn't it have been a knee slapper if they gave him the job? Then only to see his violation is the same one Dantonio is being called a liar about in a law suit?

Yeah. What tools.

That would be a mercy killing.

Of course he knew what was going on and covered it up to protect the MSU brand. How else can you explain him electing to take a demotion to move to Pitt? Why do you think Pitt fans ignore reality and constantly talk about PSU covering up abuse? They are just projecting.

They basically traded not having to pay Kevin Stallings’ $10M buyout by firing him for cause for the NCAA violations in exchange for three years probation - plus the benefit of not having Narduzzi around the players for a few practices. Not too bad of a trade, all things considered.

Please do not let reason get in the way of the Pitt pillorying. There is no fun in that.
