Brackets here: http://live.pa-wrestling.com/

One change to East AA (already reflected in the bracket): NE 138 runner-up Robbie Schneider (Lackawanna Trail) pulled due to contact tracing. NE 3rd Ian Yoder (Southern Columbia) moved up to Schneider's spot, NE 4th Logan Bartlett (Lewisburg) moved into Yoder's original spot.

What's the deal with super regionals? Is that designed to reduce the number of wrestlers at states?

Bollman from Ridge in the same boat. They were the AA state final match last year. Established hierarchy gets no respect in PA wrestling brackets and it’s great
Bollman lost his opener. Then that guy lost his next match.

AA 113 is going to be all East, all the way. Bradley and Pepe will be the finalists, and Gardner will likely take 3rd.

Gibson 5-1 over Steen. NF2 in the 2nd, and a last-sec T2 to end the match.

They'll very likely face again next week in the state finals. Steen will have to beat NDGP's Brett Ungar in the semis -- last year he beat Ungar a couple time, each one very close.

While it's nice that Steen is coming to PSU, deep down I hope there's another option on the table for our future 125. Unless Robbie is able to hold the spot...

I haven't seen what happened, but Manville did lose. Penn Manor Athletics tweeted that Carson Manville is their guy's next opponent in consolations.

... and then there's this update on PA-Wrestling.com:

Consolation Semifinals
189Colt Barley, Penn Manor, won by forfeit over Carson Manville, State College
3/6 4:51 PM

Manville's semis match is listed as
Disq. 4:44 FMC

FMC = flagrant misconduct. School required to withdraw the athlete from the event.

Still haven't seen what he did, but his season is done.

The match is on FLO. His opponents nose was bleeding a LOT. Carson was called for "throwing" his head back while trying to get off bottom. 2nd Penalty point. This was after Carson had already been called for pulling the headgear.....headgear never moved that I could see. Carson was clearly agitated. More blood time. After another blood time Carson was called for a flagrant forearm to the face/head area. His opponents back was blocking the camera ...couldn't see if it connected but it looked bad. DQ
