OT: USA COVID-19 Vaccination Updates

At some point people will realize that laborers need to be paid or they won’t work. Corporate profits on the shoulders of workers can only last for so long. The chickens have come home to roost.
What? Workers have never been higher paid!

We settled this issue earlier.

Covid is about 2x worse than the flu.

There was some confusion about which numbers the CDC represent the actual Flu burden, but that seems to have been sorted out by their own language.
The numbers you presented show the opposite of the bolded statement. Your Covid numbers are for nearly two full years, while each of the flu tables represents one year.

In addition, flu vaccines were available to the 0-17 age group while covid vaccines are not available for 0-12 group and just became available for 12-17.

Hopefully you mistyped the bolded part?

You are EXACTLY right. I simply typed it backwards.

Flu is about 2x worse than Covid for young people.

What an idiot I am.

0.66M shots yesterday so total up to 409.4M.

So far, 219.1 million Americans have received at least one dose of a vaccine. At least 189.4 million people have completed a vaccination regimen. At least 10.6M have received a booster dose.

Total Population with at least one dose = 66.0%; Fully vaccinated = 57.1%; Booster = 5.8% as percent of fully vaccinated

Population over 12 years of age with at least one dose = 77.2%; Fully vaccinated = 66.8%; Booster = 6.2% as percent of fully vaccinated

Population over 18 years of age with at least one dose = 79.0%; Fully vaccinated = 68.6%; Booster = 9.7% as percent of fully vaccinated

Population over 65 years of age with at least one dose = 95.8%; Fully vaccinated = 84.4%; Booster = 14.9% as percent of fully vaccinated

71,809 positives reported yesterday compared to 92,415 week over week. 7-day rolling average is 78,046

Fatality was 1,863 reported yesterday compared to 1,617 week over week, 7-day rolling fatality at 1,385

Hospitalizations reported 7 day rolling average is 52,146 compared to yesterday 7-day average at 50,750 compared to one week ago 59,038 DOWN 11.7%.

Hospital admissions reported 7 day rolling average is 6,142 compared yesterday 7-day average of 5,956 compared to one week ago 6,876 DOWN 10.7%.

Daily Positives: Texas-5720, California-5711, Minnesota-5663, Pennsylvania-3899, Ohio-3617, Wisconsin-2736, New York-2670, Florida-2122, Illinios-2071, Massachusetts-2045, Colorado-1983, Washington-1972, Arizona-1887, Kentucky-1735, Georgia-1679, Virginia-1617, Indiana-1534, Idaho-1464, North Carolina-1374, Utah-1343

So when you look at the daily positives, Texas is still on the decline. California is actually now flatlined and has been steady at 5000+ per day for a week now after come down from it's peak (a peaking factor that was nothing like the Southern states). Minnesota appears to have peaked last week and is on the decline. Pa appears to have peaked last week and is on the decline although that decline does not look as steep as other states. Ohio is on a steady decline since mid-September. Wisconsin peaked last week and is on the decline. New York you could say peaked in late September and is on an extremely slow decline that is very flat. Florida is on a crazy decline from a peak of 20,000+ per day in late August to 2440 per day now. Illinois is on a slow decline since mid September. Massachusetts peaked in mid-September but has really flatlined the last few weeks and is not declining anymore. Colorado is at it's peak it appears, has gone down the last few days but not long enough to declare the peak over. Washington peaked in mid-September but the last week has flatlined. Arizona is like New York and on a very slow decline for a month. Kentucky, Georgia, Virginia, Indiana, North Carolina are all on a very steady decline. Idaho is peaking now. Michigan is still peaking. Utah on the steady slow decline.

So basically there are only a few states left out there that are not declining and based on what their chart looks like, I suspect they will be on the decline before the end of the month. The rate of decline can vary widely with some states on a step 45 degree angle with other states having it be very slow. The country peaked at 167k cases on September 2nd. On October 2nd that number had decreased to 108k. On October 20th we are at 78k. So we should be down in the 60k by months end.

0.8M shots yesterday so total up to 4010.2M.

So far, 219.3 million Americans have received at least one dose of a vaccine. At least 189.7 million people have completed a vaccination regimen. At least 10.6M have received a booster dose.

Total Population with at least one dose = 66.1%; Fully vaccinated = 57.1%; Booster = 5.9% as percent of fully vaccinated

Population over 12 years of age with at least one dose = 77.3%; Fully vaccinated = 66.9%; Booster = 6.3% as percent of fully vaccinated

Population over 18 years of age with at least one dose = 79.1%; Fully vaccinated = 68.6%; Booster = 9.9% as percent of fully vaccinated

Population over 65 years of age with at least one dose = 95.9%; Fully vaccinated = 84.5%; Booster = 15.3% as percent of fully vaccinated

80,425 positives reported yesterday compared to 101,104 week over week. 7-day rolling average is 77,173

Fatality was 2,005 reported yesterday compared to 1,956 week over week, 7-day rolling fatality at 1,538

Hospitalizations reported 7 day rolling average is 51,698 compared to yesterday 7-day average at 52,146 compared to one week ago 57,977 DOWN 10.8%.

Hospital admissions reported 7 day rolling average is 6,132 compared yesterday 7-day average of 6,142 compared to one week ago 6,787 DOWN 9.7%.

So back to reporting anomaly's again in the fatality data as the 7 day average has actually increased the past week which you would think would be impossible with the hospitalization rates and the daily positive rates having been going down for over a months now.

What an idiot I am.

Here's the thing that people miss, the flu is an acceptable risk with no limitations on children. Yet covid is less dangerous with no vaccines, etc and we place severe limitations on kids. That is ass backwards.

i will be the broken record again. This stopped being about medical science a while back. This is purely about political power, control, and $$$ at this point.

There is another shoe to drop regarding these vaccine mandates IMO.

Let us say someone complied with the vaccine requirement, however 2, 4, 6, you pick the number of months, the mandate comes to get the booster, and people decide they are not.

I was ok with getting the J&J because my wife felt strongly about it. Neither of us is sure about a booster down the line. Neither of us work for companies with a mandate.

Both posts are right:

What kind of idiot parent would vax their kid for COVID?
The kind that’s still/completely brainwashed by the complicit corporate owned media
(CNN, MSNBC, NBC, ABC, etc) and believes everything they are told by the commentators, reporters and special guests like Dr Fauci, Sonjay Gupta, etc.. AND believes the government has your best interests in mind/cares about you and your family.

I just don't understand the lack of trust in this administration.

We’re screwed. 😞
I knew their was something wrong with me. What is a good med for parasites? 😀

seriously I have never heard of TruNews.com. Somebody has way to much money in the retirement fund down there in Vero.

True fact- Vero Beach had one of the most unique/awesome motorcycle hare scrambles on the east coast. I do believe it was actually a bit east of Vero.

Just one recent example last week of the many large protests sweeping Europe. Of course the ms media rarely covers these protests.

Local media reported that around 10,000 people took to the streets of the Italian capital, with many chanting "freedom, freedom" as some looked to break past police in riot gear deployed to guard access to Draghi's office.

Wow. So basically any efficacy thought to be attributed to the vax, was largely helped by natural immunity. 😂 Makes those “breakthrough” cases not so rare, or possibly the norm.

MUST MANDATE!!! 🙄🙄🙄
Well there's that and the fact that most people under 60 have a very small chance of getting seriously sick. Those people who naturally won't get sick make the vaccine efficacy higher as well. And let's not forget what vaccinating kids will do to the efficacy.

Total Population with at least one dose = 66.2%; Fully vaccinated = 57.2%; Booster = 6.1% as percent of fully vaccinated

Little bit of a milestone finally getting back down below 75k on the 7-day positive, have not been that low since late July. Should see hospitalizations down below 50k by Monday also.

Interesting theory. Are repeated spike protein vaccines actually a bad thing long term?

People wonder why delta ran rampant...

Oh yeah, and this:

Over the next two hours, they were driven away in cars by people who met them there — without anyone appearing to have to show identification to the officials overseeing the operation.

Fauci lied under oath about funding gain of function in China. Trust.

So basically Fauci was using a play on words. NIH never sponsored GOF research, they just provided funding to a group that turned around and sponsored the research. So you could say that is worse as he actively went around the rules on purpose. The entire Wuhan lab leak theory cover-up and protecting Fauci and those who knew was real and the media played right along with it in banning anybody who said otherwise.

Now will anyone be held accountable? A prison sentence or three would be a decent deterrent.

But, we need Fauci to tell us that masks work and we need mandates and our kids should be vaccinated…etc. I want to feel safe!

Encourage and import covid infected people, ship them all over the country without any treatment, lie about it, blame others, and impose needless and avoidable hardships on actual Americans. I hope that poster's child doesn't get sick, because they certainly don't understand the risks.

Some moderators on social media sites played along too, making sure that anything that did not unquestioningly accept The Gospel According to Fauci was promptly deleted. Good little useful idiots.
