OT: Any DIYers wanna make your own spiral staircase?

This guy built one just using plywood. He used a CNC machine to cut out the pieces. Few people own one so would either cut them by hand or find a shop with CNCs that will cut them for you.

Looks really cool.

Looks cool, but presumably a solid step like that will weigh a lot and need a lot of material vs a more traditional hollow step.

Very cool but no railing. Not safe and probably violates code but I have no idea. I just know that I would be very unhappy if the spiral we have in our townhouse didn't have a railing.
