MLB - Yankees, St. Louis Cardinals, Milwaukee Brewers


Don't follow hockey or soccer close enough to care

NBA - really not a fan of any of the teams...impartial at best
NHL - Flyers, Rangers

CFB - ND, Pitt, tosu, meet-chicken (and pretty much the entire b1g)

When I was young and innocent, I had a deep and intense hatred of the Baltimore Orioles (specifically Earl Weaver) and the Dallas Cowboys. But then something strange happened. As I got older, wiser and more mature, I realized my hatred was because those teams always won and when I started to think about why those teams always won, I realized their management was a lot smarter than other organizations, had a better eye for personel, and acquired better players. My "hatred" for them turned into respect. You can hate the Patriots today because of "spygate " and "deflategate" (and I am a Jets fan) but give Belechek credit, personel wise he has kept New England competitive for the last 14-16 years and if you're in the AFC east, you still have to go through Foxboro to get in the playoffs. You can hate them because they always win and may push the envelope a little, but how many other NFL organizations have been competitive consistently as long as New England has been lately? If that inspires hatred in you, find something else to do with your life.

NCAA Football = Miami and Michigan
Baseball = Yankees and the Yankees
NBA = Lakers
NCAA Basketball = UCLA

Really, I root against teams on the east and west coast, for the most part.

There used to be an old joke about the Dallas Cowboys. The notion was that JJones was going to move them to the Philippines and rename them the Manilla Folders.

There's lots of teams I like too, one degree or another. PSU, Villanova, Virginia Tech top the list. But let's keep it negative.

All the ahia teams both college and pro. Ahia state can count for both since they are basically a pro team anyway

I don't like teams FROM Pittsburgh either. But I love the teams in Pittsburgh, other than spitt...... What team's left Pittsburgh anyway!

Not a lot of love for my Yankees on this board.
But I do understand.
My biggest dislikes are Notre Dame and any team in any sport from Texas.
While I like to see the Red Sox lose, I have a lot of respect for that franchise and enjoy the rivalry.
