Let's take the pledge

Do we know who the mods are here? Are they new? Seems they have been quite active the past week, but I don’t recall seeing any sign of them here since Hotshoe yielded the gavel a couple years ago.
I think one of them does Dos Equis commercials in his spare time.

I think we should take the pledge to stop replying to any Ironbird posts. let's stop the madness and return or little hamlet where facts matter and excuses are for wussies.

I'll be the first to take the pledge not to take the bait.

True, I was warned for calling him an idiot yesterday. Seems minuscule in comparison to turdbird.
Since I resorted to name calling, I have voluntarily abstained from that dumpster thread.
Where is this thread you speak of I can't find it.

How do warnings get communicated? In case I’m missing any.

If you are reading the post after the warning there is a comment added to the post. If you are the one getting i think it is in your notifications.

I just got finished reading the latest posts on the exclusive Ironbird thread and I really hope you guys DON'T put him on ignore. To me, the banter is way too funny. And now the awesome performance by Penn State over the past 3 days gives everyone so much more ammo to use. Instead of taking the pledge, I say lets keep it rolling!

Is there a reason I don't have that thread

Every time I glance at this thread title I think it says "Let's take the plunge," but then quickly realize that's likely something only the crazies on GIA would be into.

Well - someone got their wish. Ironbird's thread is now locked.

Honestly, it was the right move. We were giving him exactly what he wanted by replying and making that thread a large one. I'm definitely as guilty as anyone, but, he's always going to do his schtick, which got old a long time ago.

Again, I don't speak for everyone here, but I thought the back and forth banter was amusing. I figured that it was fair game for us to post ridiculous stuff too if he was going to do it. In fact, I had the following all written and ready to copy/paste when I found the thread was locked.

OK, you guys heard it hear first. Ironbird's suspicions are somewhat correct, however he is not aware of the currently available technology for optimal training. Both Cael and Casey are avid Goku fans, so they were inspired to have the super double top secret slush fund pay for the development of a state of the art training facility that gives the PSU guys an almost unsurmountable advantage. Buried deep beneath Beaver Stadium is the world's largest centrifuge. Mounted on the centrifuge is a full size wrestling room that can be pressurized up to a level of 20 atm. This facility allows the wrestlers to train in a 10g, hyperbaric environment that enhances their physical performance way beyond anything possible by other standard training methods. What is particularly clever about this set up is that the wrestlers will pass any NCAA drug test since their method does not use forbidden PEDs. Textbook proof that out of the box thinking combined with superior engineering capability produces the best college level wrestlers in the country.
