Or, Urban could learn something from James. We beat Iowa at Kinnick at night. Urban and OSU got annihilated by Iowa at Kinnick in an afternoon game.

Aside from Nick Saban, every collegiate head coach could learn something from Urban Meyer. Cant stand OSU, but you've gotta respect Urban Look at his W/L record. Unreal.

True. Urban and Saban are very good coaches. Part of it is the constant push for perfection. You'll never see Saban happy after a game, even after a blowout. He is always looking at the issues that need to be improved and the attention to detail shows in their big games.

Urban is a good recruiter not really a good coach, just average. They get nothing but 4 and 5 star kids same as Alabama, but get blown out at Iowa. Why doesn't Alabama ever get blown out by an inferior team. With all the talented kids in Ohio they should win the National championship every year

Saying Urbs is merely average is a bit of an overstatement, but there is something to be said for having better talent than everybody else and still finding ways to not only lose, but lose big. That part of the equation is most definitely on the coaching staff.

Franklin is fine. Yes, the OL has been a HUGE disappointment but I think many of us here have overestimated the overall talent on our 2-deep. Things are still getting better in HV.

Truthfully, we are just now recruiting the type of players who have the talent to be great starters as freshman and sophomores. Not an indictment of our kids, just reality.

How did we do against OSU up 11 with 6 minutes left? How did we do in the Rose Bowl when we needed 4 yards to win the game and ran right up the middle? Open your eyes, Franklin is an amazing steward and face of this program but a very poor game day coach and apparently his Akron, Akron, Akron mentality is now falling on deaf ears.

Shut up. If morons like you had their way Jay or golden would be coach and psu would be a 4 win team.
