I’d say it’s called more often on FGs when teams will shift to try and draw the offside. The Titans player false-started but instead they called delay-of-game on the defense because the d-line was shifting. Never seen that before.
Very strange. D lines shift all the time. Never heard of delay of game on the F unless they tried a late substitution. Even they don’t call it.The Titans player false-started but instead they called delay-of-game on the defense because the d-line was shifting. Never seen that before.
yep...I've never heard of a call of "abrupt shifting". But according to this, it is in the rules but rarely called against the defenseVery strange. D lines shift all the time. Never heard of delay of game on the F unless they tried a late substitution. Even they don’t call it.
And the announcers just sorta mumbled and didn’t try to explain it at at all. They have a rules expert they use all game but never went to him for an explanation.
Only saw some of fourth quarter….didn’t know there were two games last night. And was switching between games after wards.

The post was meant to be about the 2nd video. #6. delay of game on the day. That didn’t look like a kick but more of a hard shove. And since the other guy was holding his leg long after the play…..no problem.
