Will they (NCAA) sanction them worse than they did to us. I mean the fact is this perv, was doing it on campus as an active paid employee?

Absolutely nothing

If they did ANYTHING substantive, I would be shocked

Just as - if not for the actions of the PSU BOT and various and sundry other Scoundrels - there would have been absolutely no meaningful NCAA action vav PSU football.

The MSU situation is far worse that anything that supposedly happened at Penn State. There, administrators received numerous first hand allegations of sexual abuse from known victims against a current employee over the course of several years. Said administrators did next to nothing. Here, administrators were aware of only one accusation against an unknown victim involving a retired employee. The lone witness has given different versions of what he saw and never felt the need to call the police. With no leverage over the retired employee, said administrators notified the charity which the retired employee founded. That charity, which was run by child care experts, did next to nothing.

With all that in mind, the NCAA and B1G will do absolutely nothing to MSU. There's no famous football coach to vilify therefore Emmert and Delany won't be able to milk it for publicity. Also, what is better click bait? A story about a man who molests boys or a story about a man who molests girls?? The blowhards at the NCAA and B1G will never take any serious action regarding sexual assault against females. The faux outrage sounds good in the news though.

MSU athletics may not have anything done to it but they , MSU, are being sued by over 90 females. MSU cleared Nassar in 2014 based on a title IX investigation by the University. After this there were more incidents reported at MSU. They, MSU, are going to be paying multiple millions with all the lawsuits.

Pretty sure their president will do the honorable thing and resign. Because based on her commentary when the Sandusky scandal hit she understands that leadership is an action not a job title.

And she will demonstrate her leadership by stepping down and allowing a properly experienced individual to lead the University.

-and now to commence with the howling laughter

I doubt if they will be as stupid as our BoT, providing they have nothing to hide regarding sweetheart deals, no vote contracts, and pocket lining for everything under the sun.

The NCAA is taking this matter very seriously. They are going with the Stage1 Nuclear Option. See below. ADULTS ONLY!!!!!

What a joke if nothing happens.
Honestly - how is this an NCAA issue?

It isn't.

Some folks at MSU maybe should be standing in front of a Judge.
But the NCAA? They should do what they usually do....... nothing (and sit back and count their money)

There is absolutely no reason at all to think the NCAA or B1G will do a single, solitary thing. Remember Lou Anna Simon was extremely disparaging towards PSU back in '12. To now slam her school, which conducted a complete "investigation" of Nasser in '14 and signed off on his "intravaginal adjustment" technique performed on pubescent and prepubescent females, often without a parent or any adult present, means the NCAA would have to admit that the chair of the NCAA Exec Committee (Simon) was complicit in giving a green light to a child sexual abuser who by any measure was WORSE than Jerry Sandusky.

Given those facts, don't you agree it's silly to think the NCAA will do anything at all?

Nothing will happen. They will be rewarded. Even those who haven't Moved On have accepted this.

The NCAA may not do a thing but the Ingham County Court and Federal Court in Grand Rapids will.

Don't forget Nassar is under investigation by the FBI for child pornography found on his computer!
MSU is being sued for hundreds of millions and they will pay eventually!

MSU is getting away with little publicity so far because as most on this board say a hall of fame football coach is not involved. But MSU will get/is getting overwhelmed with all the lawsuits .

Everybody gets overwhelmed by lawsuits these days, which is why insurance exists. Hardly comforting.

So the NCAA has a different standard for one abuser vs. another. In one case it is right for the NCAA to destroy a sport, but in another, one in which THE NCAA's own executive committee is implicated in ignoring a rapist, there is no penalty?

You good with that disparate treatment, jimjim?

Their AD will get some punishment , probably the gymnastics program as well. FB and BB won't be impacted considering Nassar had nothing to do with either program

I'd like Sparty to fry from all sides but don't think the NCAA will take action in this case unless they put the gymnastics program at MSU on probation. I can not believe the Dean of the School of Osteopathy at MSU still has a job! M L Simon has so far skated as has Holiis , they are covering their asses (they fired or forced the old Gymnastics coach to retire) and doing their best to stay low.. It is beyond me how this situation has basically escaped the national spotlight but then again it is MSU and no one nationally cares.

apparently their Governor doesn't:

-have a personal or political ax to grind against MSU or it's administration
-have a need to deflect attention from his failure to act when he was AG
-have supporters to protect from their involvement in a sham charity
