I think probably a ton of parents have reacted to their kids losses and usually the camera man has enough sense and compassion to not film it on live tv.

Ah, I'm not 100% sure on that. Other parents probably have the wherewithal to meltdown in private. That cameraman is there to capture the emotion, good or bad.
