So happy for Thomas! And to think Uguev was seconds away from losing in both his quarterfinal and semifinal matches, which would have knocked Thomas out of the tournament.
If Uguev had no last second saves Thomas would be a Gold Medalist!

It looks like Yazdani’s strategy is to save his energy. He’s not going out near as strong as he has in the past against Taylor.
Happy as hell for Gilman. The State College reset button works pretty damn well.
Taylor double leg takedown for a 4-3 lead, and he wins gold. Wow!
