This whole thing is just weird. The people in power had a moral panic and decided they were going to let biological males play in female sports despite there not being any kind of reason it should be that way and despite not making an argument in favor of it. They just decided, "We're doing this, you cannot stop it and you must accept it." Now we're a few years in and the public is not accepting it and they still haven't made an argument about why it should be that way. They're just pushing harder and harder and harder for it to be accepted by the public at large and meanwhile the public at large simply isn't buying it.

"Scientific studies show that athletes who have gone through male puberty enjoy a large strength advantage over athletes who go through puberty as a female. The scientific studies also show that suppressing testosterone only reduces the strength advantage by a very minimal amount. Because powerlifting is a strength sport, the strength differences between competitors are significant. Excluding male to female transgender powerlifters from the women’s division is necessary to maintain fairness and integrity in the sport."
