Monday won his first match 15-4. Was close for 4 minutes and then Quincy blew it open with a td and a bunch of laces

Zahid loses his first match 10-2 against Babii from UKR!! Looked bad. Out of shape. Had a few good attacks that UKR scrambled out of and Zahid just kind of gave up on them

Chance beats VEN 4-0 in his first match. He looks super thick at 86kg. I think he’s going to have trouble creating his own offense at this weight but he’s also going to be really hard to get to. His defense is so good

Nolf with a 10-0 tech over VEN. VEN guy was scrappy but Nolf is just too good. VEN is challenging the last 4 point move. Challenge lost so score actually ends 11-0

Brandon Courtney loses 5-2 vs Gvinjilia of GEO. Was winning on criteria and gave up a Td with :02 left. Tough way to lose

Nashon loses 9-8 to SUI. He has to be one of the most frustrating guys to watch. When he is on he is so good but he has these mental lapses where he kind of looks lost at times. It’s strange

Doug Zapf won his first 2 matches. 70kg is a super small bracket. I think only 6 guys total

Chance with a really good win over Osman Nurmagomedov of AZE 3-1. Nurmagomedov is super tough. He is world silver medalist at 92kg so a huge win for Chance

Nolf coming up now against Ramazanov on mat 1. Ramazanov gets the first td off a reattack. 2-0. Blood time. Td Nolf. 2-2. 2-2 at the break

Another Td for Nolf and it’s 4-2. A beautiful double for Nolf and then a gut to push his lead to 8-2. Nolf in on a single and converts. 10-2. One more single leg for Nolf and it’s a 12-2 tech. Great second period
