Can I add movies that should be remade? I really want to see Brewster's Millions remade.

I liked 3:10 to Yuma
I thought IT was a pretty good remake
Oceans 11 was good.
I would put The Thing as better than the original (and I liked the original).
But yea not many.
Blazing Saddles...you don't screw with perfection!
Not to mention it would never pass the "test" today.
Even Mel Brooks, in his new book, said it couldn't be done today.

Star Wars (the original trilogy), All Indiana Jones movies, Ghostbusters (ooops)… . Lots, actually.
The Dirty Dozen - Hollywood would insist on a romantic angle somehow and less violence.
The Blues Brothers - They tried with Blues Brothers 2000, and we know how that turned out
Gladiator - Russell Crowe and Joaquin Phoenix were made for those roles.

The Outlaw Josey Wales. The old spaghetti westerns couldn’t be remade because they lacked nonstop action and had long periods of building tension which would never work with modern audiences.
Along the same line...I see a remake of Roadhouse is in the works.
Point break the sequel was a nice updated version.

A Star Is Born has been made 4 times. I think that's probably enough but there will be new stars/styles every 20 years so it'll probably go through many more iterations.
The 1980s Richard Pryor version was about the fifth or sixth remake of Brewster’s Millions.
