News coming out that Ruby knew about the assassination attempt and mentioned it to a FBI informant hours before it happened.

If he wanted to keep it quite, why would he mention it to an FBI agent?
Because Joe was out recruiting and was unavailable to be told?

It appears that he is trying to say that Ruby knew about Oswald's plan and told the FBI guy. But, he has no link to his rumor.
I get that. But if he wanted to quite Ozwald, why tell an FBI agent?
No knowledge other than what OP wrote, but an informant is different than an agent. An informant is a rat, and people don't know that person is feeding information to the FBI.
Maybe just a figure of speech. People sometimes say: "Are you gonna stick around and watch the fireworks?".

Kennedy never should have been elected. The fix was in, and the killing was a corrective action.
Relax....I have researched this extensively and was thrilled when the official documents were released a few weeks ago. The Warren Commissioned report was a joke.

My question is ... why did this informant wait 14 years to tell someone. So in 1963 LHO assassinates JFK, and then JR shoots LHO. In 1977 the FBI informant tells someone on record about this exchange between himself and JR the morning of the assassination..... When JR shoots and kills LHO in 1963.... this informant does not think that info is important? He holds the info for 14 years and tells someone in 1977? If I'm reading correctly the guy was an FBI informant. Which means he was already working with/for the FBI in some capacity. So why would't he have gone and told the FBI about his conversation with JR the day he sees JR shoot Oswald??
I'll never understand why Oswald DIDN'T take the shots while the motorcade was on Houston Street. Straight on, no correction left to right . . . ah well, I've been to Dealy Plaza and the 6th floor museum a few times . . . to paraphrase a member of the Warren Commission, the American public just doesn't want to believe a nobody like Oswald killed a President.
Now this is a first, calling the assassination of a president a "corrective action". Is that your opinion or theory? Be careful here.
Reading between the lines, it sounds like he also was a criminal of some sort, maybe organized crime, and became an informant later.
