The final coaches ranking and RPI should be out this Thursday along with the number of pre-allocated spots for each conference at each weight. There are 3 criteria for a pre-allocated slot. Top 30 in RPI (15 match min) or coaches ranking (8 match min) and 70% or higher win %. If a wrestler meets at least 2 out of 3 they earn the conference a pre-allocated spot. This doesn’t mean the wrestler earns a spot at Nationals. Each competitor at the conference tournament must place high enough to earn their spot at Nationals. A wrestler must have 8 matches against D1 competition at the same weight to be eligible to earn a spot. Listed below are current rankings and win percentage. RPI, coaches and then win percentage with an estimate of how many spots each weight should earn an allocated spot. Wrestlers in Bold should be locks.

Overall, very similar to Roar’s projections from last week.

Dang; what happened to D’Augustino? Dude was 4th last year.
He just beat Heinselman and he’s still 9 in the coaches rank. 125 is just vicious in the B1G this year (which makes Spencer tearing through it all that much more impressive…). Steen is clearly the weak link in the PSU lineup, but he’s not as bad as his record, either.

I'm not sure 125 is "vicious" (I think it's a weight a lot of people can lose to lower ranked guys) That being said, Spencer makes 125 look a lot worse than it is. It's not the deepest weight but a lot of proven talent there and none of them will happen to touch Spencer.

Glory is a former finalist
McKee is a 2x AA (3rd and 5th)
Courtney is a 2x AA and former finalist
Barnett is a 2x AA
Cardinale, Kaylor and DeAugustino are all former AAs
Ramos was a Junior World Medalist and US Open champ in free

As a true freshman, he pinned NATO, teched Lizak, majored Seabass, handled Suriano was ease so he doesn't look how he does not because 125 is weak.

6-6 with 2 injury default losses. Otherwise a little up and down.

He's never been a guy to go 25-3 on the year ... but this year looks unlikely to step it up in the postseason.
In addition to injury, I have suspected he has a less-than-easy cut.

It definitely looked better before the year. Glory can’t make the wait effectively. McKee looks done with wrestling. Courtney hasn’t been near himself this year and Barnett is streaky

I mean that it’s vicious in the B1G. Outside of the conference, there’s Glory and a couple 2nd tier guys like Courtney and Cardinale and that’s it, whereas it seems like almost every B1G team has a quality 125.
