Vrabel will land somewhere pretty quickly.. Carroll stays with Seattle..the Saban news though is interesting.. where does Bama go ?
Maybe Hairball pulls a Pete Carroll and runs to Seattle to stay ahead of the NCAA.
would be absolutely shocked if he does not go to Vegas..think they are using this as a Pierce vs Harbaugh competition...not that Pierce is not a bad coach..but if Hairball did NOT take the job..then its not like they lost out on one of their top picks..its all a game..agents..owners...follow the money...
I read a few stories about Vrabel and the Pats and that he was already 'hired'
Maybe the Titans owner just didn't want to deal with it during the offseason so they could move forward and hire someone new.
Add to that Vrabel winning that last game. Now the Jags were awful, but the Titans only lost.

I don't see Carroll coaching anymore. He seems like a very good coach, even today, and rebuilt that Seahawks team where they just missed out on the playoffs this year (9-8). But at 72, how many years can you expect to get out of him?
